About LGPD

Brasil Acima de Tudo follows the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018). This page explains how we apply it.

What data we process and why

  • Browsing data and cookies (IP address, device, pages visited): to operate and secure the site, measure audience and show advertising. Legal basis: legitimate interest and, where required, consent.
  • Email address, if you sign up for our emails: to send the content you requested. Legal basis: consent.
  • Browser notification subscription, if you accept notifications: to send them. Legal basis: consent.
  • Data you include in messages to us: to answer you. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

We do not require registration and do not collect sensitive data.

Sharing

Data may be processed by service providers that help us run the site, such as Google (advertising and measurement), Cloudflare (security and performance), our hosting company and our email and notification tools. Some of these providers are located outside Brazil, and the transfer follows the safeguards provided for in the LGPD. We do not sell personal data.

Your rights (Article 18 of the LGPD)

  • Confirm whether we process your data and access it.
  • Correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data.
  • Request anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data.
  • Request deletion of data processed with your consent.
  • Obtain information about the entities with which we share data.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time.

Retention and security

We keep data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above or to comply with legal obligations. We use technical and organizational measures to protect it, although no website is completely free of risk.
